The Board of Directors of Better World Today Association is excited about the upcoming Camp 4 Compassion 2008, to be held July 18, 19, and 20, 2008.  Camp 4 Compassion is an opportunity for us to deliver a unique, powerful and enjoyable weekend camping event.  Families that are affected by the Blood Cancers Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma and that need bone marrow will bond together and will be able to share their experiences.  More children under the age of 20, die from leukemia than any other cancer.

The general public will have an opportunity to bond with their family and friends as well.  We believe that giving people the chance to enjoy time together in a relaxing and entertaining environment, while at the same time delivering an educational message about blood cancer and the Bone Marrow Registry will pay immense dividends in the future.  This weekend will show why it’s so important to become a donor.  Come see what the power of people coming together in Essex County is building.  It’s amazing what the Community can build.  Camp 4 Compassion 2008 is going to be a World Class weekend event!  You won’t want to miss it, register for your camp site today!

Logan Moore - 2008 Camp4Compassion Ambassador...

 

Logan Moore a 5 year old boy who has been diagnosed with Leukemia has been chosen to be our Ambassador for this year's Camp 4 Compassion.  He is the son of Windsor Firefighter Lance Moore and is a very remarkable young boy and his courage and strength is an inspiration for all of us. This young boy will have to undergo very difficult treatments and procedures for the next 3 years and will likely need a bone marrow transplant. Logan, along with his brother Liam, will lead us into a 3 day inspirational, extremely memorable event.  He will pull on our heart strings and make us more aware of the importance of the need to be on the bone marrow registry.   Sign up today www.onematch.ca

Parking is available at Camp 4 Compassion, with overflow parking & shuttle service available from FGT Family Church located at 285 Talbot St. E. Leamington.  Shuttle service courtesy of South Point Ford & Pinnacle Chrysler.

 

People movers will also be available at our Camp4Compassion property.
 

Film Producer will be doing a documentary of this, made in Essex County  “Camp 4 Compassion 2008″  weekend.
